We’re so thrilled with our new residents here at Trixie’s & Little Red Bike. I first saw these guys in front of Pix on Division and have been waiting for them to arrive in NoPo ever since! Apparently an artist named Scott Wayne Indiana started the project, but I have no idea if he is behind these little dudes. Anybody know? Please comment if you know. Thank you, magic horse person, whoever you are!

We learned that the horses were set out by a set of grandparents with their grandchildren who were enjoying some quality family time. Sadly we learned Tuesday that a severely disturbed attacker brutally unleashed himself upon the horse with armor and broke him into tiny pieces. We are still investigating the cause of the attack. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I have lived off the west side of Killingsworth (near Beaterville) for nearly 5 years now, and I have seen those little horses in this neighborhood ever since I’ve been here. They’re all around N. Sumner and N. Emmerson to the south of Killingsworth. I noticed that one has appeared outside Beaterville recently as well.
They’re very cool. Those horse tie rings are installed in all the sidewalks around here.
